Mr. Aziz never had much patience for the riffraff off the street but now that he had lost control of his chocolate factory, he found himself standing in solidarity with them, much to his surprise. The official news about the shift of power in his company was sent to the press on a gloomy Monday morning. The twenty one word announcement was written by a twenty six year old girl whom he knew, having appointed her as director of public relations some months ago. Placing a chocolate on his tongue Mr. Aziz inspected the press release she had printed in brown ink: “Mr. Aziz Osman has retired as CEO of Istanbul based chocolate company Osman Çikolata Inc. after 15 years leading its operations." The chocolate was delicious, he realized, and the company he had inherited from his father was gone.
